Counseling
Information
As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), I am trained to work in
a wide variety of counseling situations. My chosen areas of concentration
are Personal Growth Counseling and Life Coaching, and I work with adults
who wish to make important changes in their lives. I work with adults
who are experiencing life transitions, family issues (including parenting
and raising children through divorce), life vocations (discovering the
life’s work you are called to do), marital and relationship issues,
self esteem and self image issues, spirituality concerns, depression,
anxiety, and other related issues. My passion is to help adults realize
their personal potential in life.
In addition, I work in a part-time capacity as counselor for the students
at the University of Dallas, which allows me to help young people age
18 and older respond effectively to the many and varied challenges of
late adolescence.
My personal philosophy
is simple. I believe that we are created with a divine plan, a purpose
that is unique to each of us. I believe that divine plan or purpose
is related to what we call the soul. I believe that we are called to
grow in understanding of that divine plan or purpose and then become
the person each of us is called to be.
